Notes
(1) The host name has a limit of 63 characters. If it is 64 or more
characters long, only the first 63 are set.
Example (from the local console)
Sets the host name to "LL1".
$ hostname LL1
host name setting completed.
$
Displays the current host name.
$ hostname
<hostname> LL1
$
Displays/sets the current host name.
hostname [name-of-host]
None = Displays the current host name.
name-of-host = Sets the specified host name.
