Network BLF Indication
In the following example ext 101 will have a DSS/BLF of extension 201 on the phone.
When ext 201 is Busy, the user at extension 101 will see the DSS/BLF key is lit
indicating that ext 201 is in use.
Extension 102 will have a DSS console and the first two keys on the DSS console will
provide Network BLF indication for extension 201 and 202.
Extension 201 will have a DSS/BLF of extension 101 on the phone. When ext 101 is
Busy, the user at extension 201 will see the DSS/BLF key is lit indicating that ext 101
is in use.

On ext 201 assign key 1

01- DSS/One-Touch 101

Verify that both sites still have the default
value of 30000 assigned.
Port numbers other than default can be
used but all sites must use the same port
number.
If the port numbers at each location do
not match or are unassigned calls will still
be completed across the network
however BLF indication will not function
properly.
Allows the sites to see BLF status (on line
keys or DSS consoles) across the
network.
PRG 15-07-01 is assigned per phone. All
phones wanting to see network BLF
indication will have to be assigned
individually.
This associated ext 102 with the first DSS
console in the system.
Keys 1 &2 of the DSS console now will
display Network BLF indication for ext
201 and 202.
