Call Routing – Outbound
In the following example users in Site B will access the trunks from site A by dialing an
access code of 8. When a user in site B dials 8 and a phone number the call will be
processed across the network and out the trunk in site 1. Users in Site B will still be
able to dial 9 and make calls out their own local trunks.

Define the digit length for the special
trunk access code.
Set the leading digit as special trunk
access.
This assigns the special trunk access
code defined in PRG 11-01-01.
Assign all stations in all modes to Route
Table 2.
101 will access trunks from Remote
system 1 that is programmed in 10-27-
01.
When a call comes in from across the
network, this program determines the
route table (PRG 14-06-01) that will be
accessed in the local system.
In Site A, by default, all networked
systems are set to route table 1. Route
table 1, by default, is assigned to trunk
group 1 (PRG 14-06-01).
