Maintenance Record Selection (Row F0) – This cell can be used to select a maintenance
record using a value between 0 and 4 and operates in a similar way to the fault record
selection.
If this column is used to extract event information from the relay the number associated with
a particular record will change when a new event or fault occurs.

Disturbance record extraction

Select Record Number (Row 01) - This cell can be used to select the record to be extracted.
Record 0 will be the oldest unextracted record, already extracted older records will be
assigned positive values, and negative values will be used for more recent records. To
facilitate automatic extraction via the rear port the disturbance bit of the status byte is set by
the relay whenever there are unextracted disturbance records.
Once a record has been selected, using the above cell, the time and date of the record can
be read from cell 02. The disturbance record itself can be extracted using the block transfer
mechanism from cell B00B.
As has been stated, the rear Courier port can be used to automatically extract disturbance
records as they occur. This operates using the standard Courier mechanism defined in
Chapter 8 of the Courier User Guide. The front Courier port does not support automatic
extraction although disturbance record data can be extracted manually from this port.

Programmable scheme logic settings

The programmable scheme logic (PSL) settings can be uploaded from and downloaded to
the relay using the block transfer mechanism.
The following cells are used to perform the extraction:
• B204 Domain:
• B208 Sub-Domain:
• B20C Version:
• B21C Transfer Mode:
• B120 Data Transfer Cell:
The programmable scheme logic settings can be uploaded and downloaded to and from the
relay using this mechanism. If it is necessary to edit the settings MiCOM S1 Agile must be
used as the data format is compressed. MiCOM S1 Agile also performs checks on the
validity of the settings before they are downloaded to the relay.
Used to select either PSL settings (Upload or
download) or PSL configuration data (Upload only)
Used to select the Protection Setting Group to be
uploaded/downloaded.
Used on a download to check the compatibility of the
file to be downloaded with the relay.
Used to set-up the transfer process.
Used to perform upload/download.
