Working in an application window, you construct the bus by dragging and
dropping icons. Each application window contains a DP master to which you
assign DP slaves by adding icons.
By double-clicking on the icon or designation, you automatically switch to
the dialog box for entering the individual parameters. The gray highlighting
in Fig. 7-2 indicates the active areas:

Application window
The status bar contains outline information indicating the currently active
command, the current activity of COM ET 200 Windows or notes referring to
operator inputs.
The status bar also includes two tiles indicating the amount of address space
already assigned for inputs and outputs.
