11.2.1

Static pressure

The SP can be zeroed without recalibrating. If the SP indicates a linear shift, a new barometric
pressure value may be entered. This shifts the SP transducer curve. After the hold state initiates,
select Zero Transducer.
Select Calibration on the tool bar to place the flow computer in Hold mode.
Select the measurement tube in the navigation tree.
On the Calibration tab, select SP from the Calibration drop-down menu.
Define the SP display value: Absolute or Gauge.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Selecting Absolute requires that the barometric pressure be entered
for zero. Selecting Gauge requires zero to be entered but assumes the barometric pressure
in the BP window to be correct. Target values will correspond according to the mode
selected.
Open the atmospheric vent valve.
Click Zero Transducer.
Check Continuous Update.
When the current reading stabilizes, enter a zero (for Gauge mode) or enter the barometric
pressure (for Absolute mode) and click OK.
11.2.2
Differential pressure
The DP can be zeroed without recalibrating. If the DP indicates a linear shift, enter a new zero (0).
This shifts the DP curve. After the hold state initiates, select Zero Transducer.
Select Calibration on the tool bar to place the flow computer in Hold mode.
Select the measurement tube in the navigation tree.
On the Calibration tab, select DP from the Calibration drop-down menu.
Open the atmospheric vent valve.
Click Zero Transducer.
Check Continuous Update.
When the current reading stabilizes, enter a zero (0) and click OK.
The flow computer has one onboard RTD input. The registers representing the RTD input are normally
assigned to a measurement tube. To calibrate the RTD:
Select Calibration on the tool bar to place the flow computer in Hold mode.
Select the measurement tube in the navigation tree.
On the Calibration tab, select Tf from the Calibration drop-down menu.
Connect a variable resistor or an RTD calibration test box to J7 on the XFC
XRC
G5
electronic board.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Using a 100 Ω RTD probe to calibrate the RTD, refer to the 100 Ohm
Probe resistance table linked from the "Calibrating the RTD" Help topic in PCCU.
