Replacing Memory Backup
The MBD-U10 Unit provides memory backup for
approximately 21 days. The Ni-Cad battery should be
replaced about every two years. Refer to
Backup Battery

1.
Remove the battery cable from CN4 on the
MBD-U10 Unit.
2.
Connect the cable from the new battery to CN4 on
the MBD-U10 Unit.
3.
Turn off the KSU power.
4.
Use cutting tool to cut the tie wrap that fastens it,
and remove the old battery.
5.
Fasten the new battery with a tie wrap.
6.
Turn on the KSU power.
