Reassembling the adapter rod and top plate
1 Slide the top plate onto the adapter rod from the threaded end. Apply a small amount

Replace the O-ring if necessary:
a Remove the old O-ring.
b Cover the threads on the adapter with Parafilm or other plastic film.

Take a new O-ring and roll it onto the adapter.

NOTICE
Always wear gloves when handling the adapter rod to avoid
fat from unprotected fingers and scratching the sealing surface.
