HP-IB lnterface Electronics
The HP-IB lnterface Electronics (Figure 3-2) for the Laser Transducer System is an interface between
the laser head and any digital controller compatible with Hewlett-Packard lnterface Bus (HP-IB).
A typical system contains the following electronic equipment:
One 9800 Series Calculator with HP-IB Interface.
One 5501A Laser Transducer.
Two 10780A Receivers.
One 10740A Coupler.
Two 10760A Counters.
One 10745A HP-IB Interface.
One 10755A Compensation Interface.
One 10756A Manual Compensator.
Two power supplies (+15V and +5V).
For additional capabilities the following can be selected:
a.
Up to two additional measurement axes (10760A Counter and 10780A Receiver).
b.
Automatic compensation (replace 10756A manual compensator with 5510A Opt 010
Automatic Compensator and 10563A Material Temperature Sensor).
c.
Numeric displays (10783A).
