As shown in Fig. 5-6, put the anode terminal (marked
"+") of the lamp into the metal fixture on the ceramic
plate. Then, using the anode nut, mount the lamp so
that the protrusion on the bulb is positioned as shown
in Fig. 5-7. Refer to Fig. 5-4 for a view of the lamp
when assembled.
NOTE: Mount the xenon lamp so that the protrusion on
the bulb faces the instrument front panel (Fig. 5-4).
A mistake in the orientation may cause an
increased light loss and preclude obtaining the
desired performance from the instrument.

After mounting the Xe lamp in the lamp house,
assemble it into the main body (Fig. 5-2).
Raise the lamp house and insert it into the main body,
then lower it and press it downward into place.
The lamp house will not move if installed correctly.
Finally, secure the lamp house with retaining screws
and connect its connector with the main body.
