Folders and Dialogues
The Handsets section
The Handsets maps the directories of all the handsets. These can be edited on a PC and
transferred to the appropriate handsets.
Changes to the directory entries in the Handsets section are not automat-
ically sent to the handset in question. All the changes are initially saved
!
only in talk&surf.
You will find more information about this topic in Chapter "Mapping of a
handset directory" on page 128.
Handsets – All handsets section
The Handsets – All handsets maps the directories of all the handsets that are reg-
istered with the base station. The names of the directories corresponds to the device
name of the handset.
Handsets – Handset directory section
Use the Receive button to transfer a handset directory to talk&surf. The mapping
of the directory stored in the handset is displayed in the section Handsets – All
handsets. Any existing mapping will be overwritten.
Use the Send button to transfer the mapping of a handset directory to from
talk&surf to a handset. Any directory stored in the handset will be overwritten.
Handsets – Name section
Use the Edit button to open the selected entry of a handset directory. You can
change the entry name, e.g. so that it corresponds to the alphabetical sorting of
your call numbers in the handset. The call number can be edited only in the central
directory.
Use the Delete button to remove the selected entry from a handset directory.
Buttons in the centre of the working area
Use the Telephone to dial the selected number. This button is only available if the Link
telephone with PC option in the folder Configuration > System settings > Assign-
ments has been checked.
Use the > and < buttons to copy the directory entries from the left-hand (All) to the
right-hand section (Handsets) or vice versa. These buttons are only available if the
selected entries in the two sections can be copied in the direction in question.
