Select the software components you want to install:
– Select the talk&surf 6.0 option to install the configuration software including
directory and Calls list management.
– Select the CAPI option if you want to install the talk&surf-CAPI driver.
A CAPI driver enables fax and voice programs to access ISDN.
ì
Install the CAPI driver only if you want to use such programs.

To find out how to do this, please read Chapter "Testing the talk&surf CAPI
driver" on page 31.
– Select the Fax option if you want to install a virtual fax modem. The talk&surf
CAPI driver has to be installed if you want to use the fax function.
You will find a detailed description of the fax function in Chapter "Faxing with the
PC" on page 30.

Select the folder where the selected software components are to be installed:
– Click Browse to choose your own installation folder.
or
– Click Continue to confirm the prompted installation folder.
ì
Click Install to start installation of the selected software components.
During installation you will be prompted to set up the USB connection
between base station and PC.

Insert the USB cable connected to the base station in one of the USB
sockets on your PC.
ì
Click OK to continue installation.
ì
After the software components have been installed, click Exit to confirm completion
of installation and close the talk&surf wizard.
ì
Reboot your PC.
This will automatically start the talk&surf monitor.
