Configuring charge logging

talk&surf can only display your call charges if your network provider trans-
mits the corresponding data.

If in doubt, please ask your network provider whether charge trans-
i
mission has been activated for your ISDN line.
Bluetooth connection
Charges incurred via Bluetooth connections using your mobile telephone
are not displayed here.
ì
Double-click Configuration in Folder List.
This displays the dialogues available.
ì
Click Costs.
The corresponding tabs are then displayed.
ì
Open the Settings tab.
ì
In the Transfer from network section enter which data your network provider trans-
mits:
– Activate the Units option, if the number of units is transmitted.
– Activate the Costs option, if the actual charge of the call is transmitted.
ì
If necessary, enter Cost factor to be applied to the data transmitted by your network
provider:
– In the Cost factor section, select the Rate option.
– Enter the value in the Rate field.
– Enter a currency label with up to three characters in the Currency field.
ì
Activate the option Costs for last call option, if you want the charges of the last call
to be displayed when you get an outside line.
ì
Click Apply.
The new settings will be sent to the base station. The charge lists in the Costs per
MSN/total and Costs per device tabs are updated.
