Plug a surge protector into the dedicated and grounded electrical outlet.

Plug the AC adapter into the surge protector.
6.
Plug the connector from the AC adapter into the 18VDC jack on the Voice Mail cabinet.
Both the green PWR light and the yellow BUSY light will be lit. As soon as the BUSY light
goes out, the system is ready for use.
