Installing the Operating System

SETUP AND RE-SETUP OF CPU BLADE ON THE DISKLESS
MODEL
There are 2 ways to setup and re-setup on diskless model hardware.

1. Setup using DeploymentManager

2. Setup not using DeploymentManager (This means local install.)
Setup using DeploymentManager
Re-setup refers to the document "DeploymentManager User's Guide (Basic Operation)" attached to
DeploymentManager.
<CD-ROM drive letter> :\DPM\MANUAL\users_guide(Introduction).pdf
<CD-ROM drive letter> :\DPM\MANUAL\users_guide(Basic Operation).pdf
<CD-ROM drive letter> :\DPM\MANUAL\users_guide(Advanced).pdf
Once the installation is complete, perform the following procedure to complete setup.
System's update
Detail set up of drivers.
Setup for troubleshooting
Backup of system information
Installation of USB CD-ROM drivers (Refer to the User's Guide of external CD-ROM
drive)
* If you specified 'system update' on the scenario of 'Installation of Operating system' you
do not need to do this procedure)
