USB Connection
Follow the connections shown in the figure below if the floppy disk drive, CD-ROM drive,
keyboard, and mouse are connected simultaneously.
The USB hub should have the self-power specification if it is used. Note that NEC cannot secure the
connection depending on the type of the hub.
CPU blade
* When you use the N8460-001 external
CD-ROM drive, you may connect the USB
keyboard to VGA/USB/Serial combo cable
and connect the external CD-ROM drive to
the USB port on the keyboard, instead of
self-powered USB hub (N8460-005F).

Network

The CPU blade connects with the network via the Blade Assembly Unit. Refer to the
User's Guide of the Blade Assembly Unit for details.
