Customer benefit

With the "Path length evaluation" function, the NCK selected machine axis data is made
available as the system and OPI variables. For example:
• Total traverse path of an axis
• Total travel time of an axis
• Total sum of jerks of an axis
The external evaluation of this data enables conclusions about the strain on the machine
axes over a selected period of time or the total life span of the machine up until that point.
This makes it possible to make a definitive evaluation of all observed machine axes in
reference to the conditions for the machine's maintenance.

Features

On the function data: In order to access the "Path length evaluation", the function has to first
be generally activated. Furthermore, the data groups whose control data is to be recorded
are to be axis-specific activated.
The data is residually saved in the control and remains so after POWER OFF.

Preconditions

Specific measures are not required for the function.
