Grounding power module with grounding hook


Since the power modules are on a floating potential, one must check at the module
terminals for residual voltages before starting work at the modules.

Required tools

•
Voltmeter or multimeter with impedance of >=10 Mohm (not part of supply)
•
Voltage divider probe (not part of supply)
•
Grounding hook (part of supply)
The grounding hook is attached to the left side wall inside the COU cabinet. The other
end of the PE cable is fixed to the PE busbar (see the figure below). The length of the
PE cable is 4.5 m or 6 m, depending on the drive type.
