108 Maintenance

Procedure:

1. Open the INU door.
2. Connect the voltage divider probe to the volt-/multimeter and select the appropriate
metering range (see the instruction manuals of the devices).
3. Connect the grounding clip of the voltage divider probe to the cabinet (PE busbar, see
the instruction manual of the probe).
4. Touch the power terminals in front of each power module with the contact electrode of
the probe and check that the voltage is below 50 V.
5. Touch again the power terminals of each power module with the contact tip of the
grounding hook to fully discharge the circuit.
6. Hang the grounding hook to the terminal of the power module to be serviced and leave
it there until work on the module is finished.
7. Make sure again that all power module terminal voltages are below 50 V. Use a
multimeter and measure the voltage between the grounded power terminal and all
other power module terminals before working on the power module.

Starting the drive after maintenance

See Chapter
Operation, Energizing and starting the drive
drive using the local operator panel of the drive. If the drive is remotely-controlled, follow
the established start-up procedures.
