Raise the machine with the jack and remove all sliding paper (four locations).
Set a jack at the machine base near a leveling bolt. Then raise the jack by just slightly so that you can
remove sliding paper. Remove all sliding papers set under 4 leveling bolts. See Step 2 of this section for
how to set a jack under the machine.
Note
Use only one jack at a time. Using two or more jacks may affect the machine horizontal level
considerably, which could necessitate re-adjusting the line alignment. Raise slightly (0.5mm or
less) enough to pull out the sliding papers. If the machine is raised too high, it may cause the offset
of the board transfer height.
Caution
Raising the machine by a jack too far may let the YSP10's conveyor hit another machine's
conveyor. Be sure to check around the machine before raising.
Readjust the machine horizontal level and the conveyor to conveyor connection.
After the sliding paper sheets are removed, the machine height should be lowered by the sliding paper
thickness. Repeat Step 8 through Step 17 to measure and readjust when needed.
For fine adjustment, perform it without the sliding paper.
When there are not any problem, proceed to "9.4 Fasten the levelling bolts" on next pages.
