Recheck the footing of the levelling bolts.
Manual inspection
Hold the leveling bolt at its bottom flange and try to rotate it. If the leveling bolt rotates and/or feels
unstable, the footing of the leveling bolt might be insecure. Readjust the levelling bolt to foot to the floor
securely.
Audible inspection
Tap the bottom flange of the leveling bolt with a 46mm spanner or copper hammer and hear the sound.
Note
When the leveling bolt is firmly footed on the floor, sound like something hard is tapped which
echoes throughout the machine is heard. When not firmly footed, dull and localized sound is
heard. The sound varies depending on the floor material and structure. Make sure that similar
tapping sound is heard from each leveling bolt.
Re-check the machine horizontal level and the conveyor to conveyor connection
following "9.3 Adjust the machine horizontal level and conveyor height.", Step 8 through Step
17. Readjust the positions as required.
When the leveling bolts are tightened, the machine horizontal level and the transfer condition between
the conveyors may change.
Upon readjusting the machine horizontal level and the conveyor to conveyor connection, perform it
without sliding paper.
Note
Perform readjustment in this step without using sliding paper.
When readjustment has been made, repeat the procedure in this section from Step 1.
When the machine horizontal level has been confirmed proper, fastening of the leveling bolts is
complete.
