Procedure
Step 1.
Touch the static-protective package that contains the system fan to any unpainted surface on the
outside of the server. Then, take the system fan out of the package and place it on a static-
protective surface.
Note: Ensure that fan installation meets "Technical rules for system fans" on page 90.
