Startup/shutdown
Use the commands below to start up or to perform a controlled shutdown of the energy storage
system.
Start
When you send this command to the system, the preconditions for switch-on are checked,
e.g.
• The readiness for operation of the power converters
• Is a license code available and valid?
• Active interlocks or incorrect parameter settings
If the system cannot be started up because the preconditions are not fulfilled, you will receive
feedback via the diagnostic system and the connected HMI. You will also receive information
about why system startup is inhibited.
An internal cooldown timer is implemented to avoid thermal damage to the precharge
resistors. This prevents too many switch-ons within a short time.
If all the conditions for startup are fulfilled, the power converters are activated. The
precondition for activation is that the battery system is ready for operation at the time.
