Controlling the power converters

SIMOCRANE ESSM uses the addresses parameterized at the block input to communicate with the
connected power converters. A free telegram of the type (PZD-16/16) must be used. In other
words, 16 words are sent to the power converter and 16 words are received from it.
To ensure error-free communication, the telegrams for each power converter must be
structured as described in the following sections (see sections SINAMICS DCP receive (16
word) (Page 88) and SINAMICS DCP send (16 word)). (Page 91)

Hardware damage
Failure to structure telegrams correctly can result in malfunctions and hardware damage.
If you are using the standard application, the telegrams are preconfigured and ready to use.
