Chapter 2 Useful Features

10.2.2 Legacy Mode

1. Power on the server.
2. On the POST screen or after NEC logo is displayed, press <F2> key to run BIOS Setup Utility.
3. Move the cursor onto Boot and change Boot Mode to Legacy (the default setting is UEFI Mode).

4. Select Advanced  PCI Device Controller and Option ROM Settings.
5. Put the cursor onto LAN1 Option ROM Scan or LAN2 Option ROM Scan, and select Enabled.
6. Save the BIOS settings, and restart the server.
7. Press <Ctrl> + <S> keys when the following message appears on the POST screen.
Configuration Menu will appear.

Press Ctrl-S to enter Configuration Menu
If Option ROM Scan for LAN1 and LAN2 are set to Disabled, the screen as shown in step
Tip
6 will not be displayed.
Tip
Press <S> key while holding down <Ctrl> key.
If the next screen does not appear, restart the server and press <Ctrl> + <S> keys
again.
