2. INTERCOM FEATURES
AUTO RELEASE OF [MON] BTN
Description
After a feature is completed, the [MON] button
will be turned off automatically.
Condition
1. If a user enters a wrong data and error tone
is received, the station will not go idle state
until
the
programming
confirmation tone is received.
2. It is applied in the whole features except
Customer Message Programming, CO line
Outgoing Call Enable/Disable and MPB
Version Display.
AUTOMATIC SPEAKER SELECT
Description
Programming Automatic Speaker Select,
Condition
1. If the user enters the wrong data and error
tone is received, the Station will not go idle
until
the
programming
confirmation tone is received.
2. This feature applied the entire feature in
program mode except Customer Message
Programming,
Disable/Enable and MPB Version Display.
This feature also applied to Call Park, Call
Back, Call Forward, Queuing.

Automatic Speaker Select (PGM 111-BTN 1)
BACKGROUND MUSIC
Description
A keyset can receive audio, generally music, from
an internal or external source while idle. Music
from the source is received over the keyset
speaker and will be shut-off during ringing,

hook.
Operation
To assign background music at a keyset,
1. Press the [TRANS/PGM] button.
2. Dial 7 3 and the music is received.
To transmit a background music with external
page port at attendant station,
1. Press the [TRANS/PGM] button.
2. Dial 0 7 6 (Ext.port 1).
3. Dial the background music channel number
and
and the selected background music is heard.
4. Press
the
confirmation tone, the station will go to idle
state and the selected background music is
transferred to external port.
To transmit a background music through ICM box
at attendant station,
1. Press the [TRANS/PGM] button.
2. Dial 0 7 5.
3. Dial the background music channel number
and the selected background music is heard.
4. Press
the
confirmation tone, the station will go to idle
state and the selected background music is
transferred to ICM box.

Condition
call
1. When lifting handset or pressing [MON]
button at a station, the music is disconnected.
2. When an external music is assigned, the
music source should be connected to MBU.
3. The same music source can be used with
MOH.
4. Press the [VOLUME] button to adjust volume
while the background music is heard.
5. The BGM may be blocked in an ICM box by
pressing [DND/FOR] button.
