5. DIAGNOSTIC TEST OPERATION
5.4.6.1 LIUST-51 Serial Test
In this test, the display test for the LIUST-51 Serial type is performed. If selecting Port No. to which another
device is connected, performing the "Character Display Test" or the "Triangle Mark Test" may cause the POS
terminal to lock up. Please be sure to specify the Port No. to which the LIU is connected.
(1) Operation procedure
1. Select the LIUST-51 Serial Test(1) button on the LIU Test Menu screen.
2. Specify Port No. by clicking the radio buttons on the screen.
3. Click the Character Display Test(1) button, then make sure that the following contents appear on the
LIU.

4. Click the Triangle mark Test(2) button, then make sure that all the triangle marks of the LIU illuminate.
5. When the LIU performs correctly, click the OK button to terminate the test. If not, click the NG button.
