PERIODIC MAINTENANCE

To help retain the quality and performance of this unit and prevent unexpected troubles, the following maintenace
should be performed periodically.
CAUTION!
Turn the power off when performing the maintenance #1 to #3.

6.1 Procedure of Periodic Maintenance

Cleaning the covers.

Visually check the outside of the unit for
any deformation, cracks, clearance, or
bend.
Wipe the covers with a soft dry cloth or
soft cloth slightly moistened with mild
detergent. After using detergent for
cleaning, be sure to wipe it off with a
moistened cloth.
Remove any dust from the ventilating
slits provided on the front and left sides
of the unit with a vacuum cleaner.
Check for proper operation of the ST-
B10's POS I/O devices.
For details of the POS I/O device test,
refer to Chapter 5 Diagnostic Test
Operation.
