5. DIAGNOSTIC TEST OPERATION
5.4.9.2 LAN Setting
LAN setting is performed here.
(1) Operation procedure
1. Select the LAN Setting(2) button on the System Information Menu screen.
2. IP Address, Subnet Mask, Default Gateway, and Broadcast Address of the LAN currently performed are
read and displayed.
3. Move the focus to a desired edit box, then depress the [C] key to clear the data.
4. Input a numeric value into the focused edit box, then click the Setting button. If a wrong data is
inputted, a dialog is displayed without data setting and the edit box of the wrong data is focused. (If the
wrong data is inputted in several edit boxes, the first one is focused.)
5. When all the setting is completed, click the Setting button to terminate the LAN setting. The setting
data will be printed at this time, and it will be effective by rebooting the POS terminal.
If the Cancel button is clicked, the input data is not set, causing this setting to be terminated.
6. Input method of the Broadcast Address can be chosen either automatic entry or manual entry.
For manual entry, set the following data of the file "diagconf.ini" stored in the directory "/root/base/diag" of
the USB memory as shown below.
[BROADCASTADDRESS]
status=ENABLE
For automatic entry, set the following data of the file "diagconf.ini" stored in the directory "/root/base/diag"
of the USB memory as shown below.
[BROADCASTADDRESS]
status=DISABLE
