5. DIAGNOSTIC TEST OPERATION
5.4.6.2 WD-111 Serial Test
In this test, the display test for the WD-111 Serial type is performed. If selecting Port No. to which another device
is connected, performing the "Character Display Test" or the "Dot Check Test" may cause the POS terminal to
lock up. Please be sure to specify the Port No. to which the LIU is connected.
(1) Operation procedure
1. Select the WD-111 Serial Test(2) button on the LIU Test Menu screen.
2. Specify Port No. and Baud rate by clicking the radio buttons on the screen.
3. Click the Character Display Test(1) button, then make sure that the following contents appear on the
LIU.

4. Click the Dot Check Test(2) button, then make sure that all the dots of the LIU illuminate.
5. When the LIU performs correctly, click the OK button to terminate the test. If not, click the NG button.
NOTE: Do not select the "Port No." which other devices (LIU) are connected.
There is a possibility that the program freezes up.
