4.4.2 Other Notes for Operation
(1) When the RTC Jumper has been set to the clearance side, the POS terminal will not boot.
(2) When deleting the information of BIOS Plug & Play, select [Enabled] for "Reset Configuration Data" and
save this setting by "Save & Exit Setup".
(3) The Default Settings (Load Setup Default) are recommended BIOS settings.
If there are any errors after customizing BIOS settings, return them to the Default.
Do not change the following menus. Settings not suitable for the hardware may cause malfunctions.

In the event an incorrect setting prevents re-entering the BIOS Setup Menu, perform the following
operations in the order:
(1) turn off the POS terminal, (2) disconnect the power cord, (3) move the RTC Jumper to the clearance
side, (4) return the RTC Jumper to the bootable side, (5) connect the power cord, and (6) turn on the
POS terminal.
(4) The following function key is available during "BIOS POST" (Power On Self Test).
PAUSE Key : Pauses the screen on the display. This status continues until another key is pressed.

(5) The following parameter needs to be changed as follows prior to performing a LAN boot (PXE network
boot).
(The D8000h-E8000h of UMB space is not available when LAN boot is effective.)

CDROM.
