5. DIAGNOSTIC TEST OPERATION
5.4.5.5 iButton Test
In this test, it is checked if the iButton installed into the POS Terminal reads the data stored in the iButton
correctly.
(1) Operation procedure
1. Select the iButton Test(5) button on the I/O Communication Test Menu screen.
2. For creating master data, connect the iButton through the iButton unit.
3. When the master data is recognized, the data is displayed in the Master edit box.
4. When a magnetic card is swiped through the IDCR, the read data is displayed in the Data edit box. If it
corresponds with the master data, an OK count increases. If not, an NG count increases.
5. Click the END button to terminate the test. At this time, OK is displayed when none of NG was counted,
whereas NG is displayed when one or more NG was counted.
