5. DIAGNOSTIC TEST OPERATION
5.4.4.4 PKBST-50/LKBST-65 IDCR Test
In this test, it is checked if the IDCR installed into the POS keyboard such as PKBST-50 and LKBST-65 reads the
data stored in the magnetic card correctly.

Function
(1) Operation procedure
1. Select the IDCR Test(4) button on the Keyboard Test Menu screen.
2. For creating master data, slowly swipe the card through the IDCR.
3. When the master data is recognized, the data is displayed in the Master edit box.
4. When a magnetic card is swiped through the IDCR, the read data is displayed in the Data edit box. If it
corresponds with the master data, an OK count increases. If not, an NG count increases.
5. Click the END button to terminate the test. At this time, OK is displayed when none of NG was counted,
whereas NG is displayed when one or more NG was counted.
