Ê Note the positions of the shoulder screw caps (1).
Ê Remove two screws (2) of the defective HDD SAS/SATA backplane.

Ê Slide the HDD SAS/SATA backplane in the direction of the arrow (1) as far
as it will go.
Ê Lift the HDD SAS/SATA backplane out of the chassis (2).
