Replacing the defective bottom PDB

Field Replaceable Units (FRU)
Average hardware task duration: 25 minutes
Average software task duration: 5 minutes
Note on system information
The bottom PDB contains the Chassis ID EPROM that contains system
information like server name and model, housing type, serial number and
manufacturing data.

Preliminary steps

Perform the following procedures:
"Shutting down the server node" on page 41

"Removing the server enclosure out of the rack" on page 43

CAUTION!
For ALL service tasks, remove the CX400 S1 server enclosure out of
the rack and put it on a separate desk!
It is not allowed to draw the CX400 S1server enclosure partially out
of the rack.
