Location ID Module

The location ID module exists in the electric cutting reels
circuit to identify the location of the three (3) cutting reel
motors. This module allows such machine features as
raising the center cutting unit slightly later than the front
cutting units. The location module plugs into the E--Re-
els wire harness under the left side cover next to the op-
erator seat (Fig. 82).
Testing
1. Park machine on level surface, lower cutting units,
stop engine, apply parking brake and remove key from
ignition switch. Remove right side cover next to operator
seat to allow access to location ID module.
2. Carefully unplug wire harness connector from loca-
tion ID module connector.
NOTE: Location ID module connector terminals A and
B are not used on Greensmaster TriFlex Hybrid ma-
chines.
3. Using a multimeter, measure resistances between
module connector terminals as follows (Fig. 83):
A. Verify that resistance between connector termi-
nals C and F is approximately 6.2K ohms. Record
measured resistance.
B. Verify that resistance between connector termi-
nals D and F is approximately 3.9K ohms. Record
measured resistance.
C. Verify that resistance between connector termi-
nals E and F is approximately 1.6K ohms. Record
measured resistance.
D. If any of the measured resistances vary by more
than 10%, replace location ID module.
4. After testing is completed, secure wire harness con-
nector to location ID module connector. Install right side
cover next to operator seat.
