(2) FR-E7TR RS-485 terminal block
RS-485 terminal can be used instead of a PU
connector connected to a standard control circuit
terminal to perform RS-485 communication. To do this,
attach a control terminal option, FR-E7TR.
Parameters need to be set are the same as ones need
for RS-485 communication with a PU connector.
Refer to page 365 for the detail of initial settings and
specification of RS-485 communication with RS485
terminal.
Terminating resistor switch
Factory-set to "OPEN".
Set only the terminating resistor switch of
the remotest inverter to the "100Ω"
position.
Terminal 2/SG switch

Set terminal 2/SG switch to the right position (ON) to
pass a shielded wire across terminal SG. As a result,
terminal 2 changes to terminal SG. (Note that analog

Loosen the terminal screw and insert the cable into
the terminal.
Wire the stripped cable after twisting it to prevent it
from becoming loose. In addition, do not solder it.
Use a bar terminal as necessary.

control circuit terminals and run them away from the
main and power circuits (including the 200V relay
sequence circuit).
