5.2 ETERNUS DX Disk Storage System Monitoring Setup

(2) Specify the community name for "Community Name", specify the IP address of the
SNMP Manager for "IP Address", and click the [Add New Community] button.
IMPORTANT
(3) Confirm that the added community is displayed in the "Set Community Name" field.

Set MIB view
(1) Click the [MIB View Setting] link on the left of the screen.
The MIB view setting screen appears.
(2) Specify the MIB view name, specify the subtree, and click the [Add New MIB View]
button.

When SNMP Manager exists in a different subnetwork from
where the ETERNUS DX Disk storage system belongs, spec-
ify the IP address or the network address of SNMP Manager in
the "Allowed IP List" using the [Set Network Environment]
function.
