Remove the connector cover attached to the FC ports.
Remove the connector cover attached to the FC port of the controller 0 (CM#0) or
controller 1 (CM#1).

Keep the removed connector covers in a safe place where they will

not be lost.
Connect the FC cable to the ETERNUS DX Disk storage system.
Remove the covers from the FC cable connectors.
Insert the FC cable connectors in the controller 0 (CM#0) and controller 1 (CM#1) FC
ports.

When connecting the FC cables, position them so that they
will not obstruct replacement of the power supply unit or
controllers by the maintenance engineer.
