Select the communications digital input to hold the status from the
nominated slave device.
Select the communications protocol to be used by the recorder to
communicate with a nominated slave device:
None – communications digital channel unused.
TCP – MODBUS Transmission Control Protocol.
RTU – access a Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) via MODBUS TCP
gateway.
Enter the IP address assigned to the slave device.
Enter the RTU address assigned to the remote unit (1 to 247).
Set the IP address for the MODBUS TCP gateway required to
communicate with the RTU.
Note. This setting is always required to access a RTU via Ethernet.
Enter the register number to be read or written to in the slave device.
Select the register type, Input Status or Coil Status.
