7.2 Preparations
7.2.1 Adding GK Prefix
The 8650C cooperates with the SMC2.0 to initiate conferences. Before using the 8650C to
initiate a conference, you must set GK parameters. This section describes how to set GK
parameters, using the SMC2.0 embedded GK as an example.
Context
The SMC2.0 has one embedded GK, which comes online when being installed successfully.
Before you use the SMC2.0, add a prefix for the embedded GK. This prefix is used for
participant number allocation.
Procedure
Step 1 Log in to the SMC2.0 web interface.
Step 2 Add a prefix for the embedded GK.

On the GK page, when Status for Embedded GK is
Choose Devices > GK.
The GK page is displayed.
Select Embedded GK and click Edit GK.
The Edit GK dialog box is displayed, as shown in
