8.1 Configuring FTP
8.1.1 Deploying FTP Server
If FTP upgrades are required, deploy an FTP server. To improve upgrade security, enable the
FTPS client.
Background
The FTPS is an extension of the FTP to support the SSL.
Prerequisites

Configuring the FTPS Client
Step 1 Install the FTPS client on the computer (use the FileZilla_Server-0_9_41.exe as an example).
Step 2 Double-click

On the computer where the FTP server is deployed, a fixed TCP/IP protocol is added to
the network properties, and the IP addresses of the computer and MCU are in the same
network segment.
A folder D:\Upgrade\mcu is created on the computer, containing the latest mcu-soft.bin
file, IVR files, and license file.
The FTPS client is saved to the computer.
Configure the FTPS client only when you deploy the FTP server for the first time. Before you upgrade
the mcu-boot.bin file, run the FTPS client and check whether the mcu-boot.bin file is the latest version.
