6.5 Startup

Context
On the main screen of the controller, there are Start and Shutdown buttons for
controlling the startup and shutdown of smart cooling products.

Prerequisites
Download the Service Expert app from HUAWEI AppGallery. The app can only run
on Android currently. You must apply for the permission to use the app after
downloading it.
Procedure
Step 1 Tap Start on the home screen of the controller.

Setting Method
Enter the WiFi password when you use a mobile phone to
connect to the WiFi. The WiFi has no default password.
When you enable the WiFi function for the first time, you
need to set a password.
Enable the WiFi function. The default status is Disable.
If the device is powered on again after a power failure, the device
automatically restores to the original startup/shutdown state before the
power failure.
Hardware ports are reserved on the controller to control the status of remote
dry contacts or remote startup and shutdown signals. The status of remote
dry contacts and remote startup and shutdown signals is started by default.
Starting a unit over the screen or NMS is valid only when the status of remote
dry contacts or remote start/shutdown signal is started.
If you choose Settings > System Settings > System Control and set Require
password to start or shutdown onsite to Yes, a password is required for
startup or shutdown; if you set Require password to start or shutdown
onsite to No, no password is required for startup or shutdown verification.
If it is the first startup, tap Confirm. This indicates the initial startup after
power-on. Go to Step 2
