3.3 Installing a FusionCol8000-E

3.3.1 Unpacking and Checking

Procedure
Step 1 Verify that the package is intact. If any damage is found, notify the carrier
immediately.
Step 2 Remove the plastic packaging materials.
Step 3 Check the types and quantity of fittings according to the fitting list. If any fitting is
missing, contact Huawei technical support.

3.3.2 Securing a Smart Cooling Product

Prerequisites
The evenness of concrete platforms is critical to device installation. Ensure that the
height (altitude) difference between platforms does not exceed 5 mm.

Precautions
Ensure that the crane and steel ropes provide the required
bearing capacity.
The doors of devices to be hoisted are closed.
Ensure that the steel ropes are securely connected.
Do not allow any unauthorized people to enter the
hazardous areas and never stand under the crane arm
during hoisting.
Ensure that the crane is properly located and avoid long-
distance hoisting.
Ensure that the device is stable and the diagonal gradient
of the device is less than or equal to 5 degrees.
