Advanced LAN Configuration

This section describes how to enable iSCSI Offload feature and and precautions on using vIO control feature.
The screen images used in this section may differ from those actually displayed on your system depending on
firmware version. Substitute them appropriately if they are not identical.
12.1

iSCSI Offload

This section describes how to enable iSCSI Offload feature.
1. Power on the server.
2. On the POST execution screen or after NEC logo is displayed, press the <F2> key to launch SETUP.
3. Select [Advanced] → [PCI Device Controller and Option ROM Settings].
4. Put the cursor onto [LAN1 Option ROM Scan] or [LAN2 Option ROM Scan], and select [Enabled].
5. Save the BIOS setting, and restart the system.
6. When the following message appears on POST screen, press the <Ctrl> + <S> keys. Configuration
Menu is launched.

Important
This feature is availalbe only when N8403-064F 10GbE (2ch) riser card is installed.
With N8403-061F or N8403-062F installed, this feature is unavailable.
Tips
If Option ROM Scan for LAN1 and LAN2 are set to [Disabled], the screen as shown in Step
6 will not be displayed.
