Precautions on Using vIO Control Feature

When configuring vIO on this server, the system may halt with a POST error message "B000 Expansion ROM
not initialized".
To avoid this error, specify "none" for [Boot Protocol] of the port that is not used for PXE boot to secure the area
for expanding Option ROM.

The screen images used in this section may differ from those actually displayed on your system depending on
firmware version. Substitute them appropriately if they are not identical.
1. Power on the server.
2. When the following message appears on POST screen, press the <Ctrl> + <S> keys. Configuration
Menu is launched.

• Press the <S> key while holding down the <Ctrl> key.
Tips
• If you press the <Ctrl> + <S> keys too late and fail to display the next screen, restart the
system and press the <Ctrl> + <S> keys again.
