Setting of Priority (Rate) of Background Tasks
LSI Software Configuration Utility displays and sets priority of background tasks (Rebuild, Patrol
Read, and Consistency Check) by percentage. Universal RAID Utility uses three levels as
High/Middle/Low for them. See the table below.
The priority indicates the ratio which the background task occupies to the process running by the
RAID Controller.

NOTES:
LSI Software Configuration Utility allows you to set BGI Rate
(Background Initialize Priority). But Universal RAID Utility does
not.
The server does not support full initialization feature, you cannot set
Initialization Priority though Universal RAID Utility allows it.
