3.2.9 10GBASE-LR/10GBASE-LW Single-Mode Optical Fiber Cable
(Core Diameter: 10 μm, SC Twin-Core Connector)
This is used for the connection with 10GBASE-LR and 10GBASE-LW.
The boundary with 10GBASE-LR and 10GBASE-LW is the connector on GS4000.
The maximum transmission distance between the devices with 10GBASE-LR and 10GBASE-
LW when using an optic fiber which core/clad diameter is 10/125μm (wave length: 1300nm)
is 10Km.
Figure 3.2-10 shows the rough sketch of the cable, and Table 3.2-15 shows the specification of
optic fiber interfaces.
