5.4.4 GS4000-80E2
You can add or replace a power supply without powering off the device.

(1) Detachment of a Power Supply
Comply with the following procedure when removing a Power Supply.
Step 1
Set the breaker of the power supply targeted for replacement to OFF.

Step 2
Set the circuit breaker of the power facility to OFF.
Step 3
Remove the power cable from the power supply targeted for replacement. See
section 4.5.4, which gives you the instruction related to the attachment or detachment of the
GS4000-80E2 power cable.

SUPPLY SHOULD BE DONE BY A TRAINED ENGINEER OR A QUALIFIED
MAINTENANCE PERSON.
NOTE:
When installing another power supply, remove the dummy blank panel. Store
the removed dummy panel safely, so that it doesn't get bent or lost.
