Step 2
Insert the Packet Switching Unit into the slot until it reaches the position indicated
in the figure below, and fold its levers to the indicated direction. (The Packet Switching Unit
will be inserted into the slot completely.)

Fasten the screws of the Packet Switching Unit.

Install the network interface board into the Packet Switching Unit.
(As for the attachment of a network interface board, refer to the section 5.7 Additional
Installation and Replacement of Network Interface Boards.)

Packet Switching Unit Being Locked
NOTE: When inserting a Packet Switching Unit into the slot, do it holding its levers so
that its connector part is fixed into its position correctly. When moving levers, do
it slowly without giving much pressure to them.
Caution: Use a driver when attaching a Packet Switching Unit, and make sure that it is
fixed into its position firmly.
